Your Top Vegan Questions >>> Answered!!

I often talk about going #vegan and believe me, there is nothing more that I would love to see than a completely vegan #world! This is because as a Vegan, your #compassion level increases. Not consuming #meat and other #animal products help you to be more open to a more #compassionate way of #living in every area of your #life. This opens you up to healing! That's how I came up with #CompassionForHealing! This is a self-paced process that is worth the #experience!

There are so many #benefits to #veganism and they do not only revolve around #food. Veganism is so much more than just food! It's #Health, #Enviornment, #Animals, #Clothing, #Healing and so much more! These are conversations that I have with my #clients, #friends, and #family all the time. Some come to the #light and some don't and that is ok! We all come to things when it is time for us to come to them. To everything there is a season, a time, and a purpose under #Heaven. You will find that passage in the #HolyBible in #Ecclesiastes 3! When we are ready for something different, we will #explore it. We will seek it out and we will pursue it!

I get 4 questions the most....1) what can I eat if I were to go vegan, 2) will it break my bank, 3) will I get enough protein, and 4) where can I shop? LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN GOOD .... I am going to address each of those questions briefly. They DO NOT require extensive responses.

1) Anything you can eat now, you can eat better as a vegan!

>>>I eat delicious amazing vegan food. Junk food, snacks, healthy meals, EVERYTHING! You can choose what kind of vegan you want to be. Raw food, cooked food, etc...

2) It depends on how much you think your health is worth?!$?!$

>>>Some foods you should buy organic and that may cost you a tad more but if you are saving on aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, allergy medications, and doctors visits, is it really costing you more??? Just saying... Plus, you can be a junk food vegan and be healthier than a flesh eater or a person who consumes animal bi-products.

3) If you live in the United States of America, it is highly unlikely that you will ever be protein deficient.

>>>Many of the foods that vegans eat are power packed by nature with many vitamins and nutrients including protein.

4) You can shop at any grocer that sells food!

>>> Yes, I've shopped at specialty shops and I do have a couple favorite "vegan" markets but for the most part, I shop at Wal-Mart, Food Lion, Safeway, Giant, & Kroger. Now, I know some of these markets are relative to my geographical location but I believe there is a Wal-Mart in every State if I'm not mistaken. As long as you can find fresh fruits and vegetables and staples like beans, you will be able to make and have delicious meals!

I wanted to answer so succinctly because people often think veganism is sooooo hard, boring, or disgusting but I'm here to tell you its not and I am a real person, with real friends, and real family!! I hope I gave you something to think about. I'm currently writing a book and I'm putting all this stuff together. In the book, I will go into further details and it will be something that will help you that you can keep with you until you get better at your goals.

For now, try a "Meatless Monday" or try having just fruits and veggies as one of your meals! Choose many fruits and veggies have no fat and you can eat until you are satiated! In my book, I am including some of my favorite recipes but you can get creative with things you know you love.
